We had the pleasure of visiting the picturesque Finca La Esmeralda when we traveled to Colombia in 2023. One of the things that sticks with us the most about the charming España family was their passion for organic farming practices. Grown at 1,800 meters with a beautiful view of the valley bellow, this fully washed coffee is processed in the small wet mill next to the house and dried on the family patio. This is a classically Colombian gem with notes of sweet and silky milk chocolate, ripe tangerine, and brown sugar. It's oh so creamy, balanced, and clean. Brewed hot or cold, you can't go wrong with La Esmeralda.
