In March of 2025 we had the privilege of going to Honduras and visiting our long time suppliers at the COMSA cooperative in Marcala, Honduras. COMSA is a powerhouse in the coffee cooperative world in the way they produce high quality, exclusively organic coffee. They provide their farmer members with farm education as well as operate a school for children in the community. No one leaves a visit from COMSA without being inspired by their work, impressed with the cup quality, and charmed by the unending kindness and welcoming spirit of the Honduran people.
We selected this bomb natural microlot while we were cupping there. While we did not have the pleasure of meeting Jahaira, we did work closely with her sister Liliana who was our gracious host throughout the visit. We hope you'll love this fruit forward lot. It has the complexity and fruitiness you'd expect from any high end Ethiopian natural with a sugary sweet finish and velvety body.
