This our first year purchasing this gem of a coffee from the Antioquia region of Colombia. Growing up in coffee, Alfredo Piedrahita continues the family tradition and has been farming his land for 30 years. Coffee farming is never easy, and Alfredo has had the inconceivable adversity of living in an area that has seen violence as illegal groups vied for control of the region. We admire his endurance and are proud to be offering this coffee.
This sweet and clean coffee offers notes of golden apple, pleasantly tart blackberry, and caramelized sugars that linger as the cup cools. We hope you'll enjoy this as much we do!
