After a number of years without a featured coffee from Zambia, we're thrilled to offer this anaerobic natural lot from Kateshi Estate. The Kateshi Estate originated in 1972 and was one of the first coffee estates in Zambia. The estate challenges gender stereotypes in Zambia by employing women for male dominated roles. They also help provide clean drinking water, education, and health care to the area's 20,000 community members.
This is our first anaerobic natural process and we find this coffee to be very approachable. The fruits are sweet and jammy without the ferment notes than can sometimes dominate this process. We taste concord red grapes, raspberry, and cherry chocolate cordial. Hot or iced, this is an excellent summer coffee!
