Colombia El Plan
We are thrilled to bring our first Colombian Micro Lot coffee to Vermont. The Finca “El Plan” is grown by Patricia Benitez in La Union, Nariño, in the southernmost portion of Colombia. It took us quite some time to find the prefect Colombian micro to add to our lineup and we are so glad we waited for this one. Grown above 1,700 meters this fully washed Castillo has a wonderfully creamy mouthfeel, and a clean, quick finish. Notes of rich milk chocolate, vanilla, and caramel sweetness round out this gorgeous coffee. Don't sleep on it though; we only have a limited supply until the next harvest comes in and it has quickly become a staff and customer favorite. Bags have been flying off the shelves since we introduced the Finca El Plan into our cafe.
I've found this coffee to be exceptionally good when prepared in an AeroPress.
