In early March of 2018, we sent Capitol Grounds cafe manager and member of the 802 Coffee cupping team Tonya Rackers to Honduras to select a Micro Lot to add to our lineup. After cupping well over one hundred coffees Tonya picked one of our favorite natural processed offerings ever: the “Finca Cindy.” Owned and run by Maria Regina Garcia Finca Cindy is grown in the La Paz region of Honduras at an elevation 1616 meters. While weather conditions during the harvest season made this a difficult year for natural processed coffees in Honduras, This particular example is an absolute jewel. It's also of the rarest coffees we've ever brought in. With a total harvest of just three bags we felt obliged to purchased all of it. As a result we are thrilled to offer our second exclusive coffee that can only be found at 802 Coffee. With notes of stonefruit and a sweet, juicy body this deep fruit-forward coffee is sure to wow you. Get yours now — there’s very limited supply until the next harvest!
